National Weather Service Issues Flood Watch for western Los Angeles County and Ventura County

The heavy rains hitting Southern California consistently for the last week have led to high water in many areas and a high risk of mudslides, especially due to the recent fires. The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for western Los Angeles County and Ventura county as a result and urges residents to “take steps necessary to protect their property… remain alert and follow directions of emergency preparedness officials.

Please be safe. More rains are expected through the week and we’ve seen evidence that many roads are pooling with water.
