November had been a very long month for us in California. After the Woolsey Fire broke out in Southern California, several of us from Westlake Village and Agoura Hills rallied to help provide immediate relief to families and individuals in need.

All too often, the distribution of financial support takes mounds of paperwork and months of time. Our objective is to start helping California residents rebuild immediately, with our focus on the 20+ residents of Westlake Village who lost their homes. Our first and foremost focus will be those that had no insurance (renters, or otherwise) at the time of the disaster.

Village Rising is committed to helping instill a sense of normalcy to disaster victims within our great communities of Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, Oak Park, and beyond, caring for and providing financial assistance to all disaster victims across our great state of California.

Our Mission

Our mission is to bring hope to California residents after disaster strikes. The goal of our grant making resources is to ensure a stable recovery for individuals affected by a natural disaster in California.
